The International FIDAF Folklore Festival in Serbia in 2026 will take place from July 1 to July 5 at three locations:

Belgrade - International folklore festival "Belgrade Award 2026"
Mladenovac - Wallachia International Festival "Wallachia 2026"
Stepojevac - International Festival "Aleksandar Aca Marić"

The festival is supported by the City of Belgrade - Secretariat for Culture, Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, GO Mladenovac, MZ Stepojevac.

The organizers - Cultural & Artistic Associations: "Sveti Sava" from Belgrade, "Šumadija" from Vlaška, "Mladost" from Stepojevac - assisted by the national section of FIDAF Serbia, joined forces and this year decided to host in Serbia a record number of foreign groups that a festival in Serbia had after the pandemic. Almost 500 participants from 3 continents - Europe, Asia and South America - will perform to the Serbian audience in Belgrade, Mladenovac, Vlaška and Stepojevac.

Meet the Participants

The big parade of nations will take place in the center of Mladenovac on July 2 at 11 a.m., as well as in the center of Belgrade, in Knez Mihailova Street on July 3 at 11 a.m.

The finale of the Belgrade fashion show will be on the plateau outside TC Rajićevo, where the groups will perform with short performances, but fellow citizens will also be able to take pictures with the groups, to see their colorful costumes and props live.

Program

The program begins on July 1st in Vlaška at 8:30 p.m. with the performance of the national ensemble "Venac" from Gračanica in the courtyard of the Elementary School "Bora Lazić" and where all foreign groups will be performing as well.

The concert program is then held every evening on July 2, 3, and 4 in Vlaška, and on July 3, 4, and 5 in Stepojevac on the stage in front of the House of Culture.
